Important Notice Regarding the City Tour on August 16

Due to the annual ADAC Cyclassics event, we unfortunately cannot offer city tours on Sunday, August 16.

The ADAC Cyclassics route runs largely along our regular routes. Due to the extensive road closures associated with the event, we will not be able to conduct our city tour as usual on that day.

Starting Monday, August 17, we’ll be back to serving you as usual. You’ll then be able to take our city tour again without any restrictions and explore Hamburg with our hop-on, hop-off service.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back on board starting August 17!

City tour

The Hop On Hop Off city tour offers 15 stops where you can hop on and off during the tour. You can see where these stops are located on our map.

Harbor tour

To get a detailed impression of the diversity and size of the Port of Hamburg, we recommend our XXL port tour. This 2-hour tour of the port gives us the exclusive opportunity to show you all the highlights of Germany's largest port. The 2-hour harbor tour departs daily from Monday to Sunday at 11:30 and 13:30 in winter and 5 times a day in summer (every 60 minutes between 10:30 and 14:30) from the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken (Bridge 1). Children up to the age of 3 travel free of charge.

Online tickets or for immediate printing

Once the booking has been successfully completed, you will immediately receive an invoice and the voucher in PDF format to the e-mail address you have provided.

Various discount campaigns

During the discount campaigns, the discounts are automatically deducted from the normal price after the corresponding tickets have been selected! (combined discounts, group discounts). Detailed information can be found on the respective product pages.

Live moderation

Each CityTour is led by a personal city guide who takes you through the history of Hamburg. In addition to German, the audio system offers translation in several languages.

Hamburg's sights offer a multifaceted insight into what has shaped the city historically, from its rich maritime history to its lively market culture and fascinating miniature worlds.

Warehouse district

The Speicherstadt in Hamburg is the largest warehouse complex in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic warehouse complex, built on oak piles, is an outstanding example of the port history and industrial architecture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, the Speicherstadt is home to a variety of museums, offices and cultural institutions. The red brick buildings, which are separated from each other by canals, create a picturesque scene.

Elbphilharmonie

The Elbphilharmonie, often referred to as the "Elphi", is a modern landmark in Hamburg and one of the largest and most acoustically advanced concert halls in the world. It is located in HafenCity and is visible from afar thanks to its impressive architecture and location on the waterfront. The Elbphilharmonie consists of a traditional brick base and a modern glass structure reminiscent of sails, water waves or quartz crystals. The Plaza, a public viewing platform, offers a 360-degree view of the city and the harbor.

Reeperbahn

The Reeperbahn, often referred to as the "Kiez" or "the most sinful mile", is Hamburg's famous red light and entertainment district. It is located in the St. Pauli district and is known for its lively nightlife with a variety of bars, clubs, theaters and concert halls. This district offers a unique mix of entertainment, culture and history.

Fish market

Hamburg's fish market is a world-famous attraction that draws thousands of visitors every Sunday morning. Here you can buy fresh fish, fruit and even exotic flowers. This lively market experience on the banks of the Elbe is known for its lively market criers and the variety of goods on offer

Town hall

Hamburg City Hall is an impressive building and the seat of the Hamburg Parliament and Senate. With its magnificent façade, which features neo-Renaissance elements, it is one of the most striking buildings in the city. The town hall was built at the end of the 19th century and has 647 rooms. The opulent interior, the guided tours through the building and the large town hall market in front of the building make it one of the city's main attractions.
